Beware of Scams

The District Attorney's Office urges residents to be wary of new phone and internet scams related to COVID-19. More information can be found in the relevant press release (PDF). Please be highly skeptical of emails and websites claiming to provide information or goods related to the pandemic. Rely on the CDC, County of San Mateo and City of Daly City websites for reliable and frequently updated information.

A person who would like to report a COVID-19 related scam in San Mateo County should contact the District Attorney’s Office by calling (650) 363-4651 or filing a complaint online or calling the local police department.

Schools 

Effective March 16, 2020 San Mateo County Health Officer Dr. Scott Morrow issued a School Operations Modification Order requiring all schools to dismiss students from regular attendance and implement at-home learning models. For the latest updates, check your school district website:
