Flow To Bay (the San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program) has launched their discounted rain barrel pilot program. The pilot offers San Mateo County residents and businesses the opportunity to purchase up to two high-quality 50-gallon rain barrels for just $80 each. This is a significant discount from the barrel’s $130 retail value. Additionally, San Mateo County residents qualify for a rebate that can cover up to 100% of the barrel cost (pre-tax). Once you place an order, you will need to pick up your rain barrel(s) on Saturday, November 13, 2021 between 9am and 12pm at the City of San Mateo Public Works Department.
