As the first City in the nation to declare loneliness a public health crisis, creating public spaces that are designed to promote social connection is critical.
In partnership with the Magical Bridge Foundation, Hillside Park on Lausanne Avenue in Daly City will be the future home of a Magical Bridge Playground, a playground designed for all ages and abilities by removing the physical and social barriers of traditional playgrounds to give everyone in the community an inclusive space to play, learn, and connect.
