Volunteer Leadership Program

The Volunteen Leadership Program (VLP) provides teens (who have completed the 8th grade) opportunities to develop skills, participate in daily activities, and complete community service during the summer.

VLP participants will engage with staff and other teens in a variety of offerings, in-person and via livestream. These opportunities include:

  • Weekly Live Trainings
    • Develop Leadership and Life Skills
  • Access to Participate in Weekly Activities*
    • Cooking, Crafts, Projects, Workshops, Challenges, and more!
  • Special Events
    • Game Nights, Watch-a-longs, Summer Showcase
  • Earn Community Service Hours
  • Unlock Rewards/ Prizes

* Some activities may require additional registration and an additional fee for supplies/ingredients.

Daly City Youth Advisory Committee

The Daly City Youth Advisory Committee (DCYAC) is an advisory body to the City of Daly City. DCYAC's goals are to provide youth feedback and represent the youth voice to promote a healthier community while empowering the youth of Daly City. This will include:

  • Preparing teens for the future through community outreach, events, workshops, etc.
  • Promoting education, healthy living, and social awareness
  • Providing opportunities and resources to teen residents of Daly City
