Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Program

Daly City implemented a Construction and Demolition (C&D) program (projects covered under Daly City Municipal Code's (DCMC) Construction and Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance DCMC 15.64) which requires a payment of a refundable deposit (less $91 administration fee) at time of permit issuance.

Requesting a Refund

Permits that require plan review will need to complete the C&D Deposit Refund Request Form (PDF) and submit proof of recycling before a final inspection can be obtained. The form must be accompanied by receipts/evidence of recycling or reuse of debris that has been diverted from landfill. Receipts indicating "trash" are not valid.

Quick permits with a C&D deposit fee have 180 days from the date of their final inspection to complete the refund request form and submit proof of recycling or the fee is forfeited.
