Daly City offers free document shredding to residents twice annually at our Earth Day Recycling Event in the spring and Make a Difference Day in the fall.

Annual Earth Day Free Recycling Event - 1st Saturday in May, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at City Hall.
Annual Make a Difference Day Free Recycling Event - 4th Saturday in October, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at City Hall.
In addition to free document shredding, the City is also providing free electronic waste collection, used tire take back, and mattress recycling. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
